Pasta is a staple to the Aussie diet, and with that comes an endless amount of spare glass jars lying around the kitchen.
After seeing a similar hack that repurposed jars on social media, mother-of-three Ange decided to upcycle her pasta bottles to level up the look of her pantry.
"I had four empty passata jars in my cupboard, which were the perfect size for storing my dry ingredients. That's how I came about using them."
The savvy mum got to work using Dulux Duramax bright gold finish spray paint for $24.50 and Dulux Duramax flat black spray paint for $15.50 and a rectangular sticker.
"The spray paint takes 10 minutes to dry. I left it for about an hour outside, so there was no smell, and it was thoroughly dry before removing the sticker."
The 41-year-old decided to share a short clip of the hack on Tik Tok, which has since amassed more than three million views and over 348,000 likes.
In the comments, one keen user asked if "the spray paint will scratch off."
Ange has reassured, "I only intend on storing dry ingredients in them, so if they do need a clean I'll just rinse and shake. They sit on the shelf so there are no scratches or damage to the spray paint. They look as good as they did the first day."
