Gather your supplies:
Small drink bottles; tie wire; long-nosed pliers; sturdy twine
Cut a length of wire you can wrap twice around the neck of each of your bottles.
Make a loop at 1 end of the wire, twisting the wire once and leaving a short tail.
With 1 hand, hold the loop against the neck of the bottle under the rim. Using your other hand, wrap the wire around the neck to halfway around the bottle – opposite the first loop. Bend and twist the wire once to make a second loop.
Pull the remaining wire around the neck to meet the first loop. Twist the loose end around it and snip off excess wire. Twist the loop to tighten.
For the hanger, cut 20cm of wire (or to suit) and make hooks at each end. Hook them onto the loops on the bottle and close using the pliers.
Cut the twine to your required length, then attach to the hanger with a lark’s head knot.
