The top 100 baby names in Australia

Gone are the days of Bruce and Sheila, these days in Australia you're way more likely to meet a Jack or a Chloe.

According to data collected by McCrindle.com.au, for the last four consecutive years, the top Aussie baby names have been Charlotte (for a girl), and Oliver (for a boy).

The children of celebrities obviously have an influence on the names we choose to give our babies, with Willow (Pink's daughter) and Luna (Chrissy Teigan's baby) becoming popular choices in the last few years.

A massive 2206 boys were named Oliver making it the top baby name in Australia in 2020 whereas 1609 girls were given the first name Charlotte.
