The correct spot, according to Vlatka Lake from Space Station, is in the fridge.
But there is one place in the fridge you should avoid.
“The general consensus is to store eggs in the fridge, but not in the egg racks commonly found on the fridge door," she explains.
“Egg racks are susceptible to changes in temperature due to the fridge door opening and closing and can cause your eggs to go rotten more quickly.”
The best spot for keeping your eggs fresher for longer? On a shelf over the back of the fridge, where the temperature stays relatively the same.
