Everyone loves an Aldi special buys offer. Unless of course, you’ve lined up at a store only to leave disappointed, slightly angry and empty-handed.
The recent Dyson special buys sale is a perfect example of this, with many taking to social media to express their dissatisfaction with their shopping experience.
“Feeling disgusted by the behaviour of some people pushing in front of me to get a Dyson vacuum this morning after I was one of the first few in the line waiting for sometime before shops opened," one person wrote on Facebook.
Although clearly disappointed, the commenter continued to offer a solution.
“Consequently I missed out,” she added. “Disappointed Aldi staff let this happen? A number system could have prevented this.”
A spokesperson for Aldi told news.com.au implementing a numbers system is at the direction of each store manager.
“ALDI Special Buys have become very popular with shoppers and often attract large crowds,” the spokesperson said.
“On days we anticipate a high volume of customers, many of our Store Managers implement additional measures, such as ticketing systems.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our process and are looking at all considerations, including ticketing system at all stores on busy Special Buys days.”
