Choose the right formula
“Always select products that are nourishing,” says Naselli. “Some shampoos contain heavy detergents that strip natural oils. Products like the TRESemmé Botanique Shampoo andConditioner do the exact opposite –they hydrate and don’t leave any build-up.”
Shampoo and condition correctly
“Use a five-cent piece-sized amount of shampoo and create a lather at the roots, working your way down to the ends, then rinse. Next apply conditioner, just from the mid-lengths to the ends, ensuring you blast it with cold water to seal the hair cuticle.”
Add a final hit of hydration
Post-wash, apply a leave-in conditioner: “It aids with detangling and preps the hair for styling. A wide-tooth comb [like ghd Detangling Comb] will detangle and distribute the product evenly.”
