After some mums noticed how amazing the product was, there was a 'Kmart mop cult' created on social media. Mums began posting pictures of the household item in the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page.
Posters shared their love of the product and commenters couldn't help but agree.
One commenter wrote, 'It has cut my mopping time in half and I also love the fact that it’s quick and easy to grab for touch up jobs.
'I have two active boys, red dirt in my yard and white tiles in my house so this has made my life so much easier instead of having to plug in my steam mop.'
Another added, 'I love the spray mop. With four children it makes cleaning so much quicker and simpler and is amazing for spot cleans.
'My husband has even started helping with the mopping now too. He finds it so convenient to use as he no longer needs to prepare a bucket of water and having to constantly rinse it and wring it out like you do with a regular mop. We also found that the floors dry quicker.'
More customers proudly professed their love for the product, which compared to Kmart's $45 steam mop that does almost the same job, is an absolute bargain.
So what's the big secret?
The now infamous mop can be used wet or dry. With a simple spritz of the built-in spray, the mop cleans your floors quickly and hassle-free. And it's stored easily.
