• 120 ml light rum
• 30 ml lime juice
• Sugar syrup to taste
• 125g strawberries – these can be fresh or frozen
• 1 cup ice cubes
To make sugar syrup, combine 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Heat in saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool before using. You can keep any remaining sugar syrup in the fridge.
Step 1: Combine ice, sugar syrup and strawberries in a blender.
Step 2: Add the rum and lime juice. Blend until smooth, then pour into glasses and serve.
